The Editor's Wife has yet to actually have an article published in the Swamp Camel or do any actual work as far as the newsmagazine goes.  Once she brought in some snickerdoodles, which the staff enjoyed.  Nevertheless, her previous attempts at writing indicate that she has no talent, training, or previous experience in the field and, in fact, only wants to get an article into the Camel so that she can point it out to her bridge club.  Sooner or later, she is bound to convince (or force) one of her articles into publication via her husband.  We at the Camel are doing everything we can to prolong that inevitability.
