For quite a while Sam Anderson lived a
very normal life. He had a nice apartment in an upscale neighborhood
of Reykjavik, Iceland, and toured with Bjork (he would later discover,
to his relief, that he actually lived out in the country near Shreve,
Ohio, and had toured with Willy Nelson, not Bjork). That’s about when he got the job offer he had been waiting
for: a chance to write for the prestigious Swamp Camel online
newsmagazine!
After a rough start, he's finally begun to
fit in at the Camel. Although to this day he doesn’t get along
well with the editor, who does? Anderson does get along with Jackson
Kleester; they were old buddies in the military.
As a writer, Anderson was once virtually void
of any talent whatsoever; but he is now closer than ever to climbing
out of that void. His writing career reached its culmination with the
word ‘climbing’ in that last sentence (it took a spill with his
lame play on the word ‘void’).
